Spring Blossoms in Seattle



This spring morning in Seattle, Washington at the Washington Park Arboretum with Hyacinth and Austin was perfect! Cherry blossoms, magnolias and daffodils were blooming and beautiful. Ours in Oregon all bloomed at different times this year, so this felt extra special!

I knew from a little bit of research that this area can get pretty busy when cherry blossoms are in peak bloom, so I asked Hyacinth and Austin if they could meet me pretty early. It was peaceful in the park from 8-8:30 with mostly runners and people walking their dogs. There was definitely a crowd on our way out by 10:00, so I was very grateful these two were also morning people!

I loved walking the maintained trails in the arboretum and getting to know this couple and chat about their upcoming wedding a little bit. It was hard not to constantly stop for more photos because every turn in the path offered gorgeous views with perfect light!
