How to book
STEP 01
Fill out the form
Lets make sure I have your date available! Visit the "contact me" page and fill out the short inquiry form.
STEP 02
Call or meet up
Your date is available? Great! Let's set up a time to chat. We can schedule a call, Zoom or even meet up if you're close by.
If you'd like to move forward with booking, I'll send a contract and invoice for a retainer.
STEP 03
Picture time
Now that we've secured your date, we will set up a time and location for engagement photos. I have some great location suggestions, but also love exploring the PNW and am open to trying out a new spot!
STEP 04
Delivering photos
Once we've taken your photos I will edit and deliver them with a link to a gallery for you to download. There will be high resolution photos for print and web sized photos for social media. Portrait and engagement sessions are finished in 1-2 weeks. Wedding galleries are delivered in 4-6 weeks.
FAQ
What cameras do you use? Can you handle different lighting situations?
I use Canon mirrorless cameras and various 35mm and medium format film cameras. I mainly photograph on prime lenses and have multiple with me on a wedding day.
While I love natural light, I am prepared for any lighting situation! I bring on camera flashes, off camera flashes and constant lights.
Will you edit our photos?
Yes! My goal is to keep your photos as close to true to color as possible.
For me, that means your skin tones look natural, white clothing is white and greens look vibrant.
My approach to retouching is to keep it minimal. Distractions, blemishes, makeup smudges, loose threads...if it would be gone in 48 hours, it will not be in your photos.
Film scans are edited to straighten, remove blemishes and correct lighting while still preserving the color of the film stock.
We are awkward in front of the camera! Will you help us pose?
I hear this all the time and I PROMISE you are not awkward! I will provide some gentle direction to start and see how the two of you interact naturally. If needed, I will give some extra direction from there. I try to keep it easy going during portraits so we can capture all of your adorable, in between moments.
Do you offer Payment Plans?
Yes, I do! Payment plans and financing are available. You simply select how you would like to pay when the invoice is sent.
Are you insured?
I am! Let me know if your venue requires vendors to carry insurance and I will give them my information.
