STEP 02
Call or meet up
Your date is available? Wonderful! Let's schedule a time that works best for you—whether that's a phone call, video meeting, or an in-person chat if you're nearby.
Once you're ready to move forward, I'll send over a contract and invoice for the retainer.
STEP 03
Picture time
With your date set, let's schedule your engagement photo session. I have some fantastic location ideas to share, but I'm also excited to explore the Pacific Northwest with you and discover new spots that feel right for your vision.
STEP 04
Delivering photos
After your session, I'll edit your photos and provide you with a private gallery link for easy downloading. You'll receive high-resolution files perfect for printing as well as optimized web versions ready to share on social media. Portrait and engagement galleries are typically completed within 1-2 weeks, while wedding galleries are delivered within 4-6 weeks.
FAQ
What cameras do you use? Can you handle different lighting situations?
I work with Canon mirrorless cameras alongside 35mm and medium format film cameras. I primarily shoot with prime lenses and always carry multiple options to every wedding.
I love natural light, but I'm fully equipped for any lighting condition with on-camera flashes, off-camera flashes, and constant lights.
Will you edit our photos?
Yes! My goal is to preserve the authentic colors and mood of your day. Your skin tones will appear natural, whites will stay crisp, and greens will be vibrant. I believe in minimal retouching—only removing temporary imperfections like blemishes, makeup smudges, and loose threads that would naturally be gone within 48 hours. For film scans, I focus on straightening, removing blemishes, and correcting lighting while maintaining the look and character of the original film stock.
We are awkward in front of the camera! Will you help us pose?
I hear this all the time and I PROMISE you are not awkward! I will provide some gentle direction to start and see how the two of you interact naturally. If needed, I will give some extra direction from there. I try to keep it easy going during portraits so we can capture all of your adorable, in between moments.
Do you offer Payment Plans?
Absolutely! I offer flexible payment plans and financing options. When you receive your invoice, you can choose the payment method that works best for you.
Are you insured?
I am! Let me know if your venue requires vendors to carry insurance and I will give them my information.
