Sarah and Nick's Wedding at The Ruins
What a gorgeous day! Sarah and Nick's wedding was absolutely wonderful. The weather was gorgeous, the venue was uniquely beautiful, and the vendor team was fantastic.
Without engagement photos beforehand, I got to know Sarah and Nick throughout their wedding day—seeing them through the eyes of their loved ones. That connection is really special.
The magic started the moment I arrived. Sarah and Nick's friends were putting together the altar and floral installations using Nick's amazing plant collection. The contrast between The Ruins' architecture and Nick's vibrant greenery created beautiful pops of color throughout the space.
During their first look, the couple brought their sweet dog, Shelby, making the moment even more special.
Their good friend officiated a ceremony that was hilarious and heartfelt in equal measure—the kind that had everyone laughing, tearing up, and hanging on every word.
The speeches and toasts were just as memorable. Sarah's dad, the couple's siblings, and close friends shared stories that beautifully captured Sarah and Nick's caring, fun, funny, and adventurous spirits.
The night wrapped up with dancing and celebration that kept going well after I left, extending into an after-party.
